Send WhatsApp Messages Automatically
How do I automatically send WhatsApp messages every hour?
This article describes how to setup WhatsApp messages that are going to be sent automatically for rows with no values in the Message Status column (if new rows have been inserted since WhatsApp messages were last sent, or date/time values have been removed from under the Message Status column etc.).
Step 1
In the Sheet dialog box, click on Auto Send to open the Options to Send Messages Automatically dialog box.
Step 2
From the Every Hour drop-down, select Yes.
Step 3
Click on Save & Close. Then click on Save in the Sheet dialog box to apply the changes.
Now, every hour the Walution add-on checks for rows with no values in the Message Status column, and sends a message for each of these rows.
In this example, three new rows (9,10 & 11) have been added since the last WhatsApp messages were sent. Messages are going to be sent for these rows.
NOTES:
A row may not have a value in the Message Status column either because the row has been inserted since WhatsApp messages were last sent, or because the date/time value has been removed. In either case, a message is going to be sent for the row.
Messages being sent every hour does not mean they are sent on the hour; the exact time when the sending process is triggered cannot be guaranteed.
Deactivate Automatic Messages
To deactivate automatic WhatsApp messages, click on Auto Send in the Sheet dialog box.
In the Options to Send Messages Automatically dialog box, select No from the Every Hour drop-down, then click on Save & Close. Then click on Save in the Sheet dialog box to apply the changes.
