Send Messages Automatically
How do I automatically send WhatsApp messages every hour?
This article describes how to setup messages to send automatically for rows with no value in the 'Message Status' column, i.e. if a new row has been inserted since messages were last sent, or the date/time value has been removed from under the 'Message Status' column.
From the WhatsApp Sender sidebar, click Auto Send.
This will open the Send Messages Automatically dialog box.
From the Send Messages Every Hour drop-down, select Yes.
Click Save to apply changes.
Every hour, the add-on will check for rows with no value in the 'Message Status' column, and send a message for each of these rows.
In the example in the screenshots, three new rows (9,10 & 11) have been added since the last message send. Messages will be sent for these rows when the next message send is triggered.
A row may not have a value in the 'Message Status' column either because it has been inserted since messages were last sent, or because the date/time value has been removed. In either case, a message will be sent for the row.
Messages being sent 'every hour' does not mean they will be sent on the hour; we cannot guarantee the exact time that the sending process will be triggered.
Deactivate Automatic Messages
To deactivate automatic WhatsApp messages, click Auto Send on the WhatsApp Sender sidebar.
In the Send Messages Automatically dialog box, select No from the Send Messages Every Hour drop-down, and then click Save to apply changes.
